Among them is Anisa Ismailaj, honored with the Esprit de Corps Core Value Champion Award for encouraging connection, collaboration and a strong sense of community among the team. Whether championing teamwork or infusing joy into the everyday, Anisa leads by example, making AccumTech a place where people feel valued and inspired.

From day one, Anisa felt something special about AccumTech’s culture. “The openness and welcoming energy from the entire team stood out immediately. There’s a warm vibe that encourages individuality and makes it easy to embrace all your fun and silly quirks.”  

That sense of belonging is woven into the way AccumTech operates. Every voice matters and every team member is encouraged to bring their unique perspective to the table. This culture of inclusivity and encouragement has shaped Anisa’s experience, giving them the confidence to lead in their own way. Anisa has taken that support and paid it forward to other members of the team, giving them the confidence and comfort to keep that cycle going.

“AccumTech inspires grassroots leadership — everyone is encouraged to bring ideas forward and contribute to larger goals,” Anisa explains. “We all rally around the same cause, and there’s a shared confidence in knowing our team members have our backs.”  

This collective mindset creates an environment where everyone feels emboldened to offer new perspectives or challenge conventional wisdom. There is no room for “it’s always been done this way.” For Anisa, it means showing up for colleagues; whether it’s offering support during a tough project, reminding everyone of the underlying mission the team serves, celebrating milestones, or simply sharing a funny meme in Slack, Anisa is constantly finding ways to build community and strengthen relationships.  

Esprit de Corps in Action 

Esprit de Corps focuses on creating meaningful moments that bring people together. One of Anisa’s favorite examples of this was the Thanksgiving gratitude board. “Our team drew a giant turkey on a whiteboard and left sticky notes for people to write what they were grateful for. What really surprised me was how many people expressed gratitude for their coworkers and the relationships they’d built here.”  

The simple initiative turned into something much bigger, promoting appreciation and recognition across teams. And for Anisa, it was a perfect example of how small moments of camaraderie can have a lasting impact. Esprit de Corps also shapes the way Anisa approaches challenges. “Many situations can benefit from a bit of humor, joy, or whimsy,” Anisa says. “Taking a lighthearted approach — one that makes someone’s day easier or brighter — creates a less stressful and more engaging work environment.”  

Themed projects and milestones are another great way Anisa can bring their lighthearted approach to challenging commitments. According to Anisa, “When people are excited about what they’re discussing, the energy shifts. Adding an element of fun makes meetings more engaging and encourages people to fully participate.”   

That balance of focus and fun is what makes AccumTech’s culture so unique. The team is deeply passionate about the company’s goals, but they never lose sight of the human side of work.
