This role is critical to build and enhance enterprise testing tools that simplify test evidence management, accelerate test execution, and integrate GenAI capabilities. You will directly support the safe and timely execution of data center migration testing gates, ensuring platform stability and preventing customer impact.
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
- Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
- Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
- Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
- Provide hands on technical leadership on an Agile Delivery team while serving as a peer mentor
- Performs work with a sense of urgency and accountability
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years full stack software including the usage of testing frameworks
- 3+ years of Agile experience
- 1+ years utilizing tools like JIRA as well as CI/D pipelines leveraging technologies such as Jenkins, Github, Artifactory
- 1+ years of experience with cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, TKGI, OCP, etc. in support of both native cloud development as well as cloud migration activities
- 1+ years of experience with Linux
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong Technical Leadership & Engineering solution development- Provide expertise, direction, and assistance to junior engineers and inputs towards strategy & testing processes – Shift Left Philosophy, BDD & TDD
- Knowledge of end-to-end DevSecOps automation with, etc. while implementing and using quality gates
- Experience with the utilization of GenAI capabilities
- Proven delivery of modern solutions in and agile environment
- Strong interpersonal and consultative skills
- Ability to conduct research into emerging technologies and trends, standards, and products as required
- Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
- Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Provide consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and improvements for greater efficiencies.
- Experience designing and implementing APIs, including deep understanding of REST, SOAP, HTTP etc.
