Responsibilities
- End-to-End Proposal Management: Oversee proposal preparation, revision, and submission, ensuring compliance with client requirements and company standards. Coordinate inputs from technical, management, and finance teams.
- Content Creation: Develop, write, and edit comprehensive proposal materials, including RFPs, RFIs, task orders, and presentations. Prepare each proposal section, such as resumes, past performance data, compliance matrices, and management approaches.
- Strategic Execution: Analyze RFPs, develop compliance matrices, and organize proposal reviews and lessons-learned sessions. Create clear, impactful, and compliant deliverables aligned with capture plans.
- Process Optimization: In conjunction with the Operations Team work to implement streamlined workflows to optimize efficiency and proposal win rates.
- Performance Reporting: Maintain and update the company’s past performance database and provide detailed activity reports, such as pipeline and weekly status updates.
- Broad Scope Proposals: Develop proposals across diverse fields, including AI/ML, federal data solutions, IT services, administrative services, and low-code application platforms.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of federal proposal writing and coordination experience; strong history of winning government technology proposals. Proven ability to develop deliverables that are compliant with stated instructions and submitted on time.
- Demonstrated understanding of winning proposal writing methodologies.
- Experience with low-code application platform development product offerings (value-added reseller) preferred, not required
- United States Citizen. Candidates must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Demonstrated understanding of Identity and Access Management business processes
Differentiators
- 4-year Computer Science degree (or other technical field) or 4+ years of Information Systems experience, preferred
- Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities
- Strong team player - collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working with customers and vendors to carry out proof of concepts and design discussions
- Experience presenting solutions and research to stakeholders
- Demonstrated customer focus - evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer; builds strong customer relationships and creates processes with customer viewpoint
- Strong analytical skills - strong problem-solving skills, communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve
Location
This role is a remote position with the option to be hybrid out of our Sterling, VA office.
Salary
The base salary range for this position is between $80,000 - $90,000 annually
