PORTFOLIO ANALYST
The Portfolio Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the investment management process by conducting in-depth research, analyzing portfolio performance, and contributing to the development of investment strategies for Signal Wealth. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for the financial markets. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and a desire to grow within a dynamic RIA environment.
WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO
- Manage, analyze, and prepare portfolio performance reports, utilizing portfolio management software
- Planning and guiding the asset management management transition to Signal Wealth throughout the firm onboarding process, mapping similar investment strategies
- Proactively communicate and act as a primary point of contact with advisors regarding model changes, market updates, performance, account maintenance and investment strategies
- Prepare investment-related materials to support our advisors in conducting client meetings, primarily with high net worth clients
- Develop and maintain a library of model mappings and maintain investment research databases and models
- Generate client-specific performance reports and presentations
- Assist with trading-related tasks, including tax-loss harvesting, capital gains budgets, and the use of equivalents
- Conduct fundamental and quantitative research on investment opportunities, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and ETFs
- Perform due diligence on investment managers and alternative investments
- Assist in the development and implementation of asset allocation strategies along with providing input on portfolio construction and rebalancing decisions

WHAT YOU HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in portfolio analysis, investment research, or a related role within the financial services industry, preferably at an RIA
- Strong understanding of investment concepts, financial markets, and portfolio management principles
- Experience with portfolio management software (e.g., Orion, Tamarac, BlackDiamond, etc.)
- CFA, or progress towards the designation is a plus
- Series 65, or the ability to obtain it, is a plus

SIGNAL HUBS
Signal Advisors is a remote company with team members all across the country. Over the years, we’ve realized the benefits and limitations of being fully remote. In order to foster culture and innovation that best serves our customers, a portion of our team is hybrid depending on their location. For this role, we require team members to be physically located in Detroit, or surrounding suburbs, or near one of our “Signal Hubs” across the US.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The US base salary for this full-time position is determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data.
