Salesforce is hiring a Manager to join our Global Communications team to lead the Partner comms program. This person will empower our $2 trillion partner ecosystem to validate and amplify our Agentforce story, and drive compelling stories in partnership with our Fortune 500 partners, independent software vendors and system integrators.
We’re looking for a PR pro with strong project management skills, writing ability, executive presence, media relationships, and ability to work with external partners in an effective, mutually beneficial way.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Salesforce’s Partner PR program, ensuring our partner ecosystem is strategically aligned with our broader Agentforce narrative.
- Identify and drive proactive media, social media, and thought leadership opportunities to showcase our partners—including strategic partners, independent software vendors (ISVs), and system integrators.
- Coordinate complex announcements with top strategic partners, ensuring messaging alignment and maximizing impact across global media.
- Develop and execute PR strategies for key partner announcements, partnership milestones, and joint customer success stories, securing top-tier media coverage.
- Secure a steady drumbeat of top-tier media coverage that articulates the value of our partners and AppExchange.
- Build and maintain strong media relationships, leveraging them to amplify Salesforce’s partner ecosystem and AppExchange value.
- Work cross-functionally with Salesforce PR, marketing, and international comms teams to integrate partner narratives into corporate and product news cycles.
- Provide strategic communications counsel to Salesforce executives and key business partners, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
- Drive content creation, including press releases, newsroom articles, blog posts, executive bylines, and internal partner communications.
- Manage and approve partner press releases and announcements, working closely with partners to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with Salesforce’s brand.
- Oversee and provide direction to external PR agencies, ensuring their efforts align with program objectives and deliver measurable results.
- Measure and analyze media impact, using data-driven insights to refine and optimize the Partner PR strategy.
- Support company-wide campaigns and events (e.g., Dreamforce, TrailblazerDX), ensuring partner representation in high-visibility moments.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in communications, ideally public relations - agency, in-house, or both
- Proven media relations expertise, with strong relationships in business and tech-focused press.
- Excellent writing, editing, and content development skills, with experience crafting executive messaging and partner-focused content.
- Strong project management skills, able to drive complex, multi-stakeholder announcements and initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to work with strategic partners in a way that is both effective and mutually beneficial.
- Executive presence and the ability to confidently engage with senior leaders, partners, and reporters.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments, with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and pivot as needed.
- Collaborative and team-oriented mindset—thrives in a cross-functional, matrixed organization.
- No ego, high adaptability—willing to roll up sleeves, take on diverse tasks, and support the broader comms team as needed.
