As a Provide and Fifth Third Bank team member, you will be responsible for monitoring and servicing the assigned portfolio. While acting as the main point of contact for customers, ensures a superior client experience. Responsible for all aspects of portfolio management for assigned portfolio and supporting the credit team.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

A day in the life:

These are the most significant job duties performed. The size, scope and complexity of assigned duties and responsibilities are dependent on the level and experience of the incumbent. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each assigned essential duty satisfactorily. Other responsibilities or special projects not specifically mentioned may also be assigned.

• Communicate regularly with key stakeholders in critical areas such as, documentation preparation, credit services, treasury management, asset management and credit administration departments as it pertains to customers’ needs, products & services offered, and the loan process.
• Recognize and communicate opportunities for process efficiency improvements and/or productivity enhancements to benefit the department and/or company.
• Oversee the collection of quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Review financial statements and identify any changes in business performance or risk profile.
• Assist credit team and leadership in supporting customers experiencing financial or general business hardship.
• Field, fluently answer, and escalate as necessary questions from customers about new financing and/or business opportunities.

Our newest teammate will have:

• Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, investments, business, data analysis, or related mathematical or quantitative discipline.

• Experience in customer service or other customer-facing position.
• Familiarity with business financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in helping customers feel comfortable on the phone.
• Prefer at least one full year of experience in commercial underwriting, portfolio management, or a similar financial analysis position.
• Prefer experience reviewing personal credit reports, business tax returns, personal tax returns, and personal balance sheets.
