Our team is growing:

The Collateral Analyst performs a wide range of duties related to the review of collateral, which includes assisting in the process before and after a loan funds. From UCC filings, amendments, and terminations to collateral assignments of life insurance policies.

As a Provide and Fifth Third Bank team member, you are responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience while operating within the Bank’s risk appetite.

A day in the life:

· Responsible for ensuring all loans are properly collateralized in accordance with the collateral structure outlined by the credit team.

· Create and execute processes to drive 100% collateral accuracy (we can't have a single funded loan without perfected collateral).

· Run lien searches as well as title searches to ensure awareness of all existing liens and potential cross-collateralization.

· File various types of UCC lien terminations.

· Monitor all filings for our existing portfolio to make sure our lien positions are never compromised.

· Execute collateral assignments of life insurance policies in a timely fashion.

· Develop outstanding communication and trust with our team of closing officers and operations specialists.

· Collaborate with our product and engineering teams to build clean, lightweight collateral management functionality into our loan origination software.

· Manage expected service levels related to collateral decision and condition clearing.

Our newest teammate will have:

· Three or more years lending experience in origination and/or collateral analysis. Post funding/post closing experience preferred

· High degree of attention to detail.

· Demonstrated leadership skills.

· Proven computer skills.

· Demonstrated organizational skills.

· Demonstrated teamwork and customer service skills.
