Job Description:

Site Reliability Engineer (f.k.a. Platform Engineer) for CarsArrive Network, Inc. located in Mesa, AZ. Provide daily, hands-on assistance to maintain and advance the build process to ensure reliability and optimum integration with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and Release Management. Work with the development, deployment, and automation teams on the CI/CD process, specifically building processes and tools for Docker/Kubernetes or similar deployments. Create new features and maintain web applications, mobile applications, microservices, and serverless solutions in PHP, Java, C++, ShellScript, Python, and C#. Utilize modern cloud-based tools such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure. Understand and be able to create web interfaces using JavaScript/HTML/CSS. Develop in modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, Svelte, or VueJS. Utilize modern queueing and caching technologies like Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies. Develop databases on SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Firebase, MongoDB, and Snowflake, along with its maintenance on cloud platforms. Develop Android and iOS mobile applications. Provide production support issues and provide detailed root cause analysis to stakeholders. Communicate with clients and customers on integrations and production issues and provide technical assistance. Prepare and automate reports for clients and internal stakeholders in SSRS, Tableau, DOMO, or PowerBI. Provide compliance-related technical database solutions to secure data and enhance the application's security. Assist in establishing best practices and design patterns supporting Cloud deployment using containerization, continuous integration, test automation, and continuous delivery. Requirements:

Requires Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or a related field and 6 months of experience or coursework as a platform engineer, DevOps engineer, or in platform engineering or software engineering, or a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or a related field with 2 years of experience or coursework as a platform engineer, DevOps engineer, or in platform engineering or software engineering.

Must possess a minimum of 6 months of experience or coursework with a master’s degree, or 2 years of experience or coursework with a bachelor’s degree, with each of the following:

• C++, ShellScript, Python, and C#;

• JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, Svelte, or VueJS;

• Web interface development with JavaScript, HTML, or CSS;

• SQL or NoSQL databases such as MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL;

• Firebase, MongoDB, or Snowflake; and

• Developing Android and iOS mobile applications.
