We are currently seeking a Systems Integration Specialist Advisor (Managed File Transfer) to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

The position is responsible for being a deep subject matter expert and performing activities required for the support of secured IT infrastructure, its administration and documentation of Managed File Transfer environment its setups, support of file transfer and connection failures primarily leveraging the Axway Secure Transport solution. The role combines technical expertise, leadership skills, and customer interaction to ensure the seamless operation of secure file transfer services for our clients.

Employment Type : Full-Time/Contractor

Location: US Remote.

  • Mon to Fri 8:00am to 5:00pm ET. Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, overtime, on-call, and shifts outside of core business hours

Key Job Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Coordination
    1. Troubleshooting with both internal and external customers ranging from highly technical to non-technical levels of experience
    2. Customer education - System usage, security
    3. Respond to Customer Problem Tickets
  2. Account creation
    1. Request review and pass to Information Security for implementation
    2. Assist implementors with issues
  3. Application Updates and upgrades
    1. Quarterly application updates
      1. Hot Fixes as needed.
  4. Application Configuration
    1. Application
    2. OS Settings
  5. API scripting
  6. System Monitoring using App and External tools
  7. On-call
    1. Rotating Monday to Monday. 1 week each of primary and secondary. 3 Person rotation
  8. Security
    1. Security Findings
    2. Pentest Findings

1. Technical Management

  • Axway Secure Transport Solution Administration (Account setup, transfer sites, routes, file tracking, credentials, certificate management). Ensure system availability, scalability, and security for critical file transfer processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues including file transfer failures, connection issues and server operations working closely with the team and other stakeholders.
  • Documentation of implementations (New, Modify, & Decommission)
  • Manage work direction, lead and influence, mentor, and provide feedback to others within team
  • Oversee execution of key strategic initiatives
  • Create and conduct logical design based on architectural reviews
  • Serve as collaborate pivot point between the engineers and management
  • Knowledge and capabilities around PCI-DSS related processes for data handling
  • Other duties as assigned

2. Customer Engagement

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients regarding MFT services.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored MFT solutions.
  • Ensure timely and effective communication regarding incidents, updates, and enhancements.

3. Compliance and Security

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and security standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
  • Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability management.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years in Axway Secure Transport configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
  • Minimum 5 years of working with protocols such as SFTP, FTP, HTTPS, AS2, and APIs.
  • Minimum 5 years experience with writing adhoc SQL queries.
  • Minimum 5 years of knowledge of system integrations and scripting (e.g., Python, Shell).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management using ServiceNow.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Axway Secure Transport*, Axway Sentinel
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with enterprise server clusters
  • Minimum 5 years of experience Linux capabilities
  • Minimum 5 years of experience SL/SSH Certificates, SSH Cypher/Algorithms and PGP encryption
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with RESTful API calls and scripting
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in environment with regulatory compliance requirements (HIPAA, PCI, etc.)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience understanding of security implications of domain

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Axway Secure Transport or related technologies.
  • ITIL Foundations Certifications
