The successful candidate will work as part of a team providing Business Operations Support (BOS) for a state Medicaid Program. Working under the direction of the Deputy Director, they will manage a team of consultants (project managers, business analysts, technical analysts, or other staff) that actively participate in the delivery of tasks/activities and associated deliverables. The Manager will support the team in their work directly with state business sponsors and vendor partners to support the analysis, planning, design, UAT, implementation and evaluation of key system changes, projects, and processes to help the client achieve organizational goals.


Job Responsibilities Include:
• Provide direct supervision to a team of project consultants
• Oversee the successful management of Medicaid IT system and process improvement projects to completion meeting clients’ objectives and based on PMI principles
• Ensure team members deliver quality, accurate work products on time that meets or exceeds client satisfaction.
• Ensure appropriate plans, procedures, and methodologies are applied and services yield value for the customer.
• Set and communicate clear expectations for work outcomes and manages performance
• Determines staff assignments, provides training and management development.
• Identifies skill gaps with current team and develops plans to address those deficiencies to develop NTT DATA future capabilities.
• Initiates new or revised processes, templates and initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 8 years of experience supporting or developing Health Care systems
• Minimum 5 years of experience Program or Project Management of Medicaid IT system implementation projects
• Minimum 3 years of experience in client relationship management
• Undergraduate degree or 4 years additional relevant experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification


Preferred Skills:
• People management experience
• Management or mentoring of Project Managers
• Experience translating Federal and State regulations into working requirements that are actionable by technical teams
• Experience working with Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) vendors
• Ability to translate between non-technical business users and technical IT resources
• Client-facing delivery experience in Medicaid
• Ability to lead and coach cross-functional teams

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $98,925 – 140,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
