About the Role

As a Build Engineer you will play a key role in managing and optimizing the build processes to ensure continuous, stable, and efficient software delivery. You will work with the DevOps team to develop, maintain, and troubleshoot build pipelines, focusing on scalability, automation, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire software development build infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration, delivery, and deployment
  • Ensure high uptime and availability of all software build system resources
  • Manage and control build systems privileged access
  • Support security audits including SOC2, ISO 27001, and FedRAMP and ensure appropriate compliance coverage
  • Maintain and build out our build automation infrastructure to include new elements, such as code coverage and testing
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities across build and release processes to improve efficiency and reliability
  • Work closely with Development, Product, and security teams to understand build requirements, optimization workflows, and support CI/CD pipelines
  • Monitor build performance and troubleshoot issues promptly to maintain high-quality builds, meeting project timelines
  • Stay current on industry trends, especially within cybersecurity and DevOps, to continuously enhance build processes, tools and security practices
  • Due to this role’s involvement in GovCloud, qualified candidates must be a “U.S. Person”
