This role is crucial for Engagedly's growth, as you will be responsible for creating meaningful connections, setting qualified meetings, and nurturing SDRs to build a strong sales pipeline.
A top competency for the SDR Lead is expertise in researching, selecting, and setting up tools for email management, database acquisition, and data quality enhancement. The candidate should be highly skilled in independently evaluating and implementing new solutions to optimize workflows.
Performance Objectives:
1. Generate high-quality leads through targeted outreach campaigns.
Within your first 90 days, develop and execute outreach campaigns to HR leaders and decision-makers at mid-market companies. Your focus will be on addressing their challenges in performance management, employee engagement, and workforce development. Use personalized emails, LinkedIn, and other digital channels to initiate 5-7 meaningful conversations weekly.
2. Qualify prospects and set up discovery meetings.
Within the first 60 days, book at least 10+ qualified meetings per month with HR decision-makers, ensuring they fit Engagedly's ideal customer profile. Collaborate closely with the sales team to refine lead qualification criteria and identify pain points that Engagedly can solve.
3. Develop and iterate messaging and outreach strategies.
By the end of your first quarter, optimize your outreach scripts and email cadences to ensure a high engagement rate. Regularly test different messaging tactics to increase response rates, while closely tracking performance metrics like email open rates, click-through rates, and meeting bookings.
4. Build a sustainable pipeline for the sales team.
After six months, consistently deliver a robust pipeline of 15+ qualified leads per month to the sales team. Maintain accurate records in the CRM, documenting all touchpoints, and actively manage follow-ups to nurture leads that arent yet ready to buy.
5. Mentor and collaborate with junior SDRs.
Provide guidance and share best practices with junior SDRs to elevate overall team performance. This includes conducting role-play sessions, helping to refine their outreach techniques, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
6. Stay informed about HR trends and the mid-market landscape.
Regularly educate yourself on HR technology trends and the challenges HR leaders face. Participate in product training sessions, industry webinars, and trade shows to better position Engagedly’s value proposition during prospect outreach.

- Agility: Candidate should be highly skilled in independently evaluating and implementing new solutions with agility to quickly change directions to optimize workflows.
- Results-Driven: Consistently meet and exceed lead generation and pipeline-building goals.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to the target audience.
- Adaptability: Ability to adjust outreach strategies based on what’s working, experimenting with new approaches to optimize results.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing to align strategies and share insights.
- Empathy & Understanding: Ability to connect with HR leaders, understanding their pain points and offering tailored solutions.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Overall 3-5 years of experience as an SDR or similar sales role with at least 2 years of experience in coaching / leading / managing junior SDRs (preferably in B2B SaaS or HR Tech).
- Proven track record of running successful outbound campaigns and building strong sales pipelines.
- Experience working with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
- Familiarity with lead generation tools such as Instantly, Clay, Reply.io, Apollo, Salesloft, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
