The Position
Empora is seeking to add a driven, early career Account Executive who thrives on building relationships, exceeding goals, and growing alongside a forward-thinking organization. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of professional experience, ideally in sales, account management, or customer service. In this role, you’ll enjoy a balance of support and autonomy to meet your goals: a hunger to learn, a disciplined work ethic, and creativity in problem-solving are essential.
What you’ll be doing:
Conduct effective outreach campaigns and follow up on warm-to-hot leads with a data-driven, results-oriented approach
Manage a high volume of outreach to prospective clients
Develop strong relationships with real estate investors and convert those connections into repeat business
Experiment with sales strategies, pivot as needed, and stay focused on reaching your targets
Collaborate closely with the team to refine sales processes and contribute to the company’s growth
Effectively communicate our value proposition to clients and your impact to our team
Use our CRM (Hubspot) to track, manage, and maintain a sales pipeline as well as projected closing dates.
Develop a deep understanding of the Real Estate industry, specifically Title, and stay up-to-date on trends and best practices
Represent Empora at industry events and become embedded in Real Estate Investor communities through events, networking and relationship building as needed (some nights/weekends required for this)
Assist with troubleshooting the client experience and surface client feedback to our engineering and product teams, and collaborate cross functionally to solve problems.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas
What skills and attributes we’re looking for:
Experience in a commission-based role
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for building rapport and trust
Excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment and eager to grow your career in sales and comfort with carrying a quota
High interest in real estate with a curiosity to learn about the industry. Previous work in startups and/real estate industry is helpful but not required
Flexible and open to new challenges, with the ability to pivot and think creatively.
Comfortable with some non-traditional hours for networking events and industry engagements.
Self-motivated / Self-starter and a natural people person, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
A keen interest in learning the product and sharing knowledge with potential clients
An ability to critically think and communicate - you can help clients connect the dots on how Empora will solve their title challenges and unlock potential in their business.
Exemplary in person and written communication
Technical savviness - you know your way around a computer and are comfortable leveraging software like Zoom and Hubspot to connect with your clients
Comfort working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
