Product Marketing at Employ is on an exciting journey to evolve our go-to-market strategy for our portfolio of solutions. In this role, you’ll be able to make a direct impact at Employ by ensuring that we represent our entire portfolio of solutions in the best way possible internally and externally.

This role focuses specifically on ensuring that the positioning, research efforts, audience segments, packaging, go-to-market efforts, and internal enablement of our products and services is maintained and governed at a holistic level so our teams can quickly and easily tell the story of our Employ solutions to customers and the market. You will work with peers on our talented Product Marketing team who are focused on individual business segments, as well as cross-functional teams in Sales, CX, CS, Product, and Technology.

This role is responsible for collaborating with the right teams to influence and drive improvement on the following KPIs: market share, win rate, retention, product bookings, product adoption, and opportunity conversion.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Portfolio Architecture: This role will ensure that our messaging, naming, packaging, and GTM is aligned holistically across the business and drive consistency in key processes to work to make sure our personas, ICP, product messaging, and architecture are consistently updated and relevant.

  • Market and Customer Analysis: This role will conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities.

  • Product Positioning and Messaging: This role will create compelling value propositions, positioning strategies, and messaging frameworks for Employ’s products. Ensure that our overall messaging architecture is sound and consistent with our brand, updating as needed, including vertical messaging as needed.

  • Go-to-Market Alignment: Manage a holistic calendar and plans for new product launches and major product updates, in collaboration with Product, Sales and Marketing leadership and others. This role will align the go-to-market product architecture that describes how the organization maps its portfolio of packages, solutions, offerings to target audiences.

  • Collaboration with Product Development: Work closely with product development teams to provide market insights and collaborate during the product development lifecycle.

  • Sales Enablement: Collaborate with our Revenue Team to equip the Sales and customer-facing teams with the necessary tools, training, and collateral to effectively sell Employ’s products at the portfolio level.

What you’ll bring:

  • College Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 5+ years’ experience in Product Marketing or related marketing discipline at a B2B technology organization.

  • Ability to apply a strategic, KPI/metrics-driven mindset and a passion for the combined art and science of product marketing.

  • Proven experience in creating compelling messaging and marketing strategies for different segments and personas.

  • A track record of identifying business challenges and providing enablement solutions.

  • Experience crafting compelling stories, collateral, and tools around technology products and services for a range of buyers, both business and technical.

  • Experience working with analysts strongly preferred.

  • Experience deploying Product Marketing programs across distributed teams.

  • Strong preference given to candidates with experience in the HR Tech space.

  • Experienced user of MS Office toolset (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 10%) for customer meetings, industry events, and internal meetings.

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
