ComboCurve is a SAAS company focused on the energy space. We are disrupting well forecasting and cash flow analysis with our flagship product ComboCurve.

We are looking for an analyst to join our Product Solutions team. The Product Solutions team is tasked with assisting customers by delivering tailored solutions to meet their requirements. As experts in ComboCurve, the mission of our Product Solutions team is to ensure our customers derive significant value from our software, encouraging their continued renewal and growth alongside us. You will be instrumental in driving success throughout the customer journey, beginning with onboarding, and continuing with adoption, usage, value recognition, and advocacy.

The Product Solutions Analyst plays a pivotal role in enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty through technical support and tailored solutions. This individual is responsible for bridging the gap between our product offerings and the specific needs of our customers, ensuring the optimal use and functionality of our products. By combining deep product knowledge with exceptional problem-solving abilities, the Product Solution’s team helps clients overcome challenges and maximize the value of our products.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Customer Support and Solutions Engineering: Deliver prompt and efficient technical assistance to resolve customer inquiries and product challenges. Craft and execute tailored solutions that cater to individual customer needs, elevating product functionality and user experience.
  • Be willing to obtain a deep understanding of reservoir engineering fundamentals and workflows.
  • Product Expertise: Gain a comprehensive understanding of all product features, updates, and integrations. Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance support and solutions.
  • Collaboration and Feedback: Work closely with the product development and engineering and sales teams to relay customer feedback and insights, driving product improvements and innovations.
  • Industry-Specific Training and Development: Craft and present targeted training modules and resources for clients in the petroleum industry, ensuring they possess the technical know-how and skills required for optimal use of our specialized products. Produce detailed technical documentation designed to address the unique challenges and needs of petroleum engineers, thereby bolstering their proficiency and effectiveness in their roles.
  • Complex Issue Resolution: Employ a blend of analytical insight and inventive strategies to tackle sophisticated technical challenges unique to the petroleum sector, often navigating high-stakes situations. Demonstrate exceptional critical thinking abilities, underpinned by a solid framework of methodologies tailored for the exploration, drilling, and production processes, ensuring client satisfaction and engagement.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Management: Generate and preserve comprehensive documentation regarding product solutions, challenges, and results to facilitate ongoing learning and knowledge exchange among the team. Analyze user trends to develop insightful product materials that guide and inform.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Petroleum/Chemical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Management Information Systems
  • 0-2 years of work experience
  • An analytical and process-oriented mindset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong mathematical skills and a proficiency in Microsoft and Google applications
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Preferred energy industry experience
  • Data analytics with a proficiency in Spotfire and Zapier
