We’re hiring for two open roles: a Relationship Manager, and a Community Manager.

Relationship Manager

Job Details

Our community is made up of two different kinds of members: employers and job seekers. You’ll be responsible for building new employer relationships and optimizing the existing employer accounts. In addition, we have aggressive goals for launching in new cities, and you’ll be an integral part of strategizing and executing these plans. 

We’re looking for a customer-minded individual who is tuned into the needs of our employer members and can ensure a good experience in the Purpose Jobs community.

Relationship Building

• Execute and test new strategies to grow our employer community.

• Build consultative new relationships with employers - you will be the primary touch point.

•Partner with employers who are hiring and build relationships with CTOs, Engineering Managers, VPs of Talent.

• Contribute strategic ideas about launching Purpose Jobs in new cities and help execute those plans. You’ll own the growth of our employer community in new markets.

• Success is measured by the growth of new free employer accounts. We have a freemium pricing strategy.

Success and Engagement

• Deliver customer on-boarding calls and build strategic business plans for employers.

• Increase customer retention by conducting regular check-in calls (QBRs) for tactical items, and analyze and present the success metrics to your contacts.

• Curate lists of recommended candidates for employers and hiring managers.

• Partner with our marketing team to ensure seamless and successful employer branding.

• Success is measured by engagement, upgrades, retention/churn and NPS.

 

What you need

• 2+ years of sales, customer success experience or technical sourcing, preferably customer-facing in a B2B SaaS organization.
• Deep affinity for building strong relationships.
• Understanding of the talent / tech hiring landscape.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Desire to be in a fast-paced environment and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.

 

 



Community Manager

Job Details

Our community is made up of two different kinds of members: employers and job seekers. Your goal is to grow our talent community. 

In addition, we have aggressive goals for launching in new cities, and you’ll be an integral part of strategizing and executing these plans.

Growth:

• Execute and test new strategies to grow our talent community.

• Identify and test new channels to grow our top of funnel. Including but not limited to:

• New social media channels (TikTok, Clubhouse, etc)
• Podcasts & video content
• Events
• Partnership
• Referral Program
• Ambassador Program

• Help build the brand voice through product messaging, brand differentiation, marketing content, and external communications.

• Partner with the Content team to identify and create marketing and branding assets.

• Contribute strategic ideas about launching Purpose Jobs in new cities and helping execute those plans. You’ll own the growth of accounts in new markets. 

• Success is measured by driving new signups from job seekers.

 

Experience

• Be passionately member-focused and a champion for our community, including creative ways to interact with our members across a variety of channels to ensure their success.

• Make intelligent matches by understanding deeply our candidates’ career goals.

• Build out suit of perks and benefits for job seekers.

• Partner with the content team to build a library of templates, events, classes, guidance, tools, virtual networking, mentorship and support for professionals to grow their careers.

• Success is measured by app engagement (like applications sent) and NPS.

• We have plans to invest a lot here - happy to share more if you join our team :)

What you need

• 2+ years of community building and success experience.
• Experience with B2C marketing, launching in new cities/markets.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven history of using data to drive optimizations in channel performance.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, organized, and eager to learn.
• Desire to be in a fast-paced environment and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.
